Cyber Security
This Skills Bootcamp is designed to help people with no prior tech knowledge to enter the workforce as skilled Network and Cyber specialists, which includes a guaranteed interview upon completion of the programme..
You’ll gain knowledge of Network Architecture, Cyber Security Fundamentals, and Cyber Threats. Students will develop a broad understanding of the fundamental building blocks needed to work with Networks and Cyber Security.
Eligibility

All candidates will need to commit to this as a full-time course, meaning up to 40hrs hours a week.

This course cannot be completed alongside any full-time work commitments. While it may be possible for some candidates to complete evening or weekend jobs, this is not recommended.
Essential

This course is a hybrid course, meaning students will study 2 days a week on site at the Skills City campus, so students need to be willing and able to travel.

Individuals who have a strong interest in Cyber Security.

Access to a laptop that can run Microsoft Teams and Zoom and includes a microphone and camera and able to run virtual machines (Oracle VirtualBox).

Keen to progress into a Networking or Cyber Security role.
Desirable

Ideally some basic understanding of what Cyber Security and Networking is.

Some technical knowledge or any experience in industry working with networks.
