Cloud Security

The Cloud Security Bootcamp will not only get you started with Cloud Foundations, Computer Networking, Python Programming, Databases and AWS services, but also introduce you to the Cyber security domain.

Eligibility

This course cannot be completed alongside any full-time work commitments.

​

Essential

  • Adults, regardless of prior attainment (unless required by the role/regulations of the industry in which the vacancies are being offered).

  • Aged 19+ who are either: Employed, Career changers/returners/redeployed, Self-employed or Unemployed within the last 12 months.

  • Access to a laptop that can run Microsoft Teams and Zoom and includes a microphone and camera and able to run virtual machines (Oracle VirtualBox)

Progression

You can then go on to complete a range of qualifications to further develop your skills in the area of choice. These include the following exam pathway:

  • CompTIA Network+

  • CompTIA CySA+/PenTest+

  • CompTIA Linux+

Delivery

Our bootcamp is delivered through a combination of theory lessons, lab sessions and the use of knowledge checks.

You will also get the chance to take part in a group assignment and a client-facing project. These projects will enable you to put your skills to the test while gaining industry and project management skills.

This Skills Bootcamp is designed to give you in-depth knowledge about the industry. Through a mixture of industry talks, alumni panels and other events, you will be given the tools to help you reach the career of your choice.
