Cyber Security

This Skills Bootcamp is designed to help people with no prior tech knowledge to enter the workforce as skilled Cyber specialists, which includes a guaranteed interview upon completion of the programme..

You’ll gain knowledge of Network Architecture, Cyber Security Fundamentals, and Cyber Threats. Students will develop a broad understanding of the fundamental building blocks needed to work with Networks and Cyber Security.

As well as the criteria listed on the apply page, the general requirements for this course:
  • All candidates will need to commit to this as a full-time course, meaning up to 40hrs hours a week.

  • This course cannot be completed alongside any full-time work commitments. While it may be possible for some candidates to complete evening or weekend jobs, this is not recommended.


  • Adults, regardless of prior attainment (unless required by the role/regulations of the industry in which the vacancies are being offered).

  • Aged 19+ who are either: Employed, Career changers/returners/redeployed, Self-employed or Unemployed within the last 12 months.

  • Access to a laptop that can run Microsoft Teams and Zoom and includes a microphone and camera and able to run virtual machines (Oracle VirtualBox).

  • Keen interest in Cyber Security with a basic understanding of what cyber security and networking is and the view to start a career in the industry.



  • Ideally some basic understanding of what Cyber Security and Networking is.

  • Some technical knowledge or any experience in industry working with networks.
