During this Skills Bootcamp, you will be recruited through Skills City and positioned in front of potential employers that are looking to hire Unity Certified Graduates. Once you have been selected and enrolled by your new employer, you will then receive 13 weeks of unrivaled, professional training taught directly by Unity’s top instructors, enabling you to become a Unity Certified Professional Programmer.
You will learn skills such as player movements, UI, customisations, analytics and remote settings, navigation and animation that is applicable cross-industry. You will also gain valuable industry experience by working on a bespoke live project which will be completely tailored to the needs and industry of your new employer.

WILL I EARN A QUALIFICATION?
Yes, by completing this course and passing the final exam, you will achieve the Unity Professional Programmer
HOW IS THE COURSE DELIVERED?
This course is delivered fully virtually, however, there will be a possibility going forward for some hybrid learning.
WHAT CAREERS CAN I GO INTO?
You will enter this Skills Bootcamp with a new career and graduate with not only the Internationally recognised Unity Professional Programmer Certification, but also with a Proof of concept for your new company’s project.
(You may even find that you go back with a new team member in the form of a Unity Professional Artist from our 12week bootcamp).

Intro, player movement and firing
Object rotation and screen wrapping, spawn and destroy
Points, Jumps and UI
Creating particles and explosions, multilevels and pausing
Adding achievements and saving data
Customisation, analytics and remote settings
Navigation and animation
Camera movement and environment interactions
Red alert and Audio
Adding multiple levels and Peer review
As this course is funded both by your employer and by the Department for Education, there is an eligibility criteria that must be met before you are able to join the course.
It's essential that you are a resident of the North West aged 19 or over, and have an employer willing to contribute 30% of the course cost to your studies.
In addition to this, you should have one of the following:
A Level 4 or above qualification in a Computer Science related course
1 year's industry experience with Unity
6 months programming experience with a C based language
